President's Message
by Ashley VanDeburgh

In just two months, we will be in Orlando for the 52ndAnnual APT US&C Conference.  The conference will be held July 23-26, 2017, at the WALT DISNEY WORLD SWAN AND DOLPHIN RESORT.  It is the perfect venue for both a first rate educational program and lots of activities and restaurants close by for when the conference is done for the day.

We recently announced that our keynote speaker will be Dr. Ken Eastman of the Center for Executive and Professional Development at the Spears School of Business, Oklahoma State University.  His presentation will be From Traditionals to Millenials: Leading Generations at Work, a topic we can all find useful as the nature of the workforce is constantly changing.  Additional details on the conference schedule can be found below, but we have put together a program that includes sessions full of information you can take back to your communities on investments, the economy, and several breakouts on cybersecurity. If you attend all of the scheduled sessions you will receive 12 credit hours of CPEs with an opportunity for more credits if you take any of the optional trainings.
I look forward to seeing you in Orlando!
